Director Vishal Bhardwaj who has previously delivered superhit films such as Omkara, The Blue Umbrella and Makdee is back with his crazy comic drama titled "Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola". The upcoming movie stars Imran Khan, Anushka Sharma and Arya Babbar in lead roles with a supporting cast including Pankaj Kapoor and Shabana Azmi.
The first look trailer of the movie featuring the entire cast has been released, Imran khan carries off a bearded look whilst Anushka Sharma is seen walking out from the water, donning a see-through top rocking a super sexy tattoo on her lower back! The tattoo reads "Dekho magar pyar se". She plays a whacky character, who falls in love with a Haryanvi boy (Imran Khan).
Anushka says, “I play a strong headed, outspoken girl in the film. My look highlights the bold approach of the character.” The actress however seemed more appreciative of Imran’s look.“I think he looks hot in the film,”
Apparently, the cheeky body art is part of a promotional strategy for the film. But, what's with the film's unusual title? Vishal said, “I liked it because it was recommended by lyricist Javed Akhtar. The film is a different kind of laugh riot. It will have earthy humour".
